The following was was streamed in front of a live audience

Pokémon Joe, Charles, Brian…and…Oh?…Beau was caught! That’s right, The Real Beau York is in studio and joining us, live as we take part in Coverville’s 2016 Coverthon!   Join us in Brian’s basement as we take part in a wonderful charity fundraiser that benefits Alzheimer’s Research.  For more information on how you can help this worthy cause head over to Coverville, for more info.  This week Ditto is all the rage and rage inducing as Joe is the only member of the panel to have caught one…make that two.  Niantic spreads love outside of the United States and gives all trainers something to be thankful for.   The in-game tracking system has widened its reach.  All of that incredible content, and of course YOUR feedback, emails, and comments!

YEeeeeeeeeeeeeeS!!  Behold our Patron David Symond Hill: The Golem!  The Onyx!  Like a Whirlwind from a Pidgeot he sweeps by; blown far from his homeland in search of glory and honor!   We walk in the garden of his turbulence!!

Our Trainers!  Our Patrons — Today, today, you find yourselves equals.  For you are all equally blessed.  For we have the pride, the privilege, nay, the pleasure of introducing to you a Trainer, sired by Instinct, A Trainer who can trace his lineage back beyond Satoshi.  We first met him atop a mountain near Pewter City, pleading to Nurse Joy, asking her forgiveness, for the Pokémon blood spilt in battle with his.  Next, he amazed us still further in Stone Town, when he saved a trainer-less Evee From the would-be punishing of its dreadful Mystic captor.  In Neon City, he spent a year in silence just to better understand the song of a Jigglypuff.  And so, without further gilding the Bellsprout, And with no more ado, I give to you the Seeker of Serenity, The Protector of Evee Well-Being, The Enforcer of his leader Spark, The one — the only –our newest Elite Trainer– Sir Casey Hancock!!!  Due to their generous Patronage we will continue building this great community!

  1. Hello team Pokemon Go Podcast.

Thanks for your awesome work. Never miss an episode.

I am playing with 4 trainers cycling between them as I see fit. I am currently level 28, 29 and 30 Mystique and Level 22 Valor. Why would I betray myself? Well, some of my Mystique colleagues have the tendency to put very low CP Pokemons in Gyms. This is not good and more so when the Gym is level 7 and higher. I then use my Valor trainer to get rid of it and can then train the gym back where it was and put a higher level pokemon in there.

Even Level 10 Gym can benefit from it by strengthening the lowest level Pokemon and inserting a different type of pokemon between two identical one. Making the gym more secure. Starting at 52k prestige my Valor trainer needs only two fight to get down to 49k. Then two additional fight with my Mystique trainer and I can put a higher level Pokemon.

Moreover, wild pokemon IVs are set when they are spawn. When catching a rare one, I take the time to check with my team leader the value of it and can then cycle my trainer to collect it all.

When I met a Lapras recently I end up collecting 4 of them.

When I take down an opponent gym, I cycle through my Mystique trainer and place a pokemon for each of my mystique trainer. I usually can collect 10 gyms for my three mystique trainer before making my withdrawal from the Pokemon ATM machine. And this does not take me much more time that doing so with a single trainer.

While commuting with my pokemon go plus I often reach the limit of either objects or pokemons. I then swap my trainer and continue on. Later at night, while watching TV, I would sort this out, evolve / recharge / grind as needed.

All in all I was unsure about starting an additional trainer back then. Today, I am happy I did.

Continue the good work and good humor.

    Random Trivia:

I am playing in French. French Pokemon name could be very interesting. For example the translation for Grimer is Tadmorv and the translation for Muk is Grotadmorv
While Grimer and Muk do not evoque much in English, Tadmorv and Grotadmorv does means a lot to us French speaking peoples:

Tadmorv sound like two words and could be translate into a bunch of mucus while Grotadmorv, you guess it, is a big bunch of mucus.
