Welcome to Pokémon GO Podcast! Charles, Brian, and Joe are back again. We are loving the new livestreaming aspect of the show. We are able to get real time listener interaction and it is wonderful. Our friend [Reversal](https://twitter.com/reversalyoutube) has decided to take a break from Pokémon GO due to the ridiculous mechanics surrounding EX raids. EX raids have completely demotivated him and he needs some time. A lot of people have supported Reversal’s decision. We agree that EX raids are a poorly designed mechanic and brainstorm some possible solutions. Reddit has decided that EX raids encourage behavior that is against the terms of service; it encourages people to share their accounts if they are unable to go to the EX raid themselves.
The addition of generation 3 Pokémon and new moves getting added to the game have mixed up the top attackers a bit. As much as we’re loving Gyarados with Waterfall/Hydro Pump, he will get completely outclassed by Kyogre. Niantic has decided to stop supporting iOS devices that are unable to upgrade to iOS 11. Our own Joe Ard currently has an iPhone 5, so unless he gets a new phone by the end of February he won’t be able to play Pokémon GO anymore.
