Welcome to Pokémon GO Podcast! Charles, Brian, and Joe back with a FANTASTIC episode! Joe is back from GO Fest and had a wonderful weekend if you don’t count his travel woes. GO Fest was a tremendous success; Niantic definitely learned from last year’s mistakes. There weren’t any lines to get into the park, there were very few connection issues, and overall it was a wonderful experience for all. Joe had a few nitpicks, but they were inconsequential. We’re excited to see what Niantic pulls off next year. There was a poster handed out at GO Fest that showed the generation 4 starters; does this mean we’re getting extremely close to generation 4 Pokémon showing up in game? Regice is gone from raids and has been replaced with Registeel. Speaking of raids, some alolan forms are in raids now: Raichu, Marowak, and Exeggcutor. The August community day will feature Eevee and will take place over 2 days, so make sure you get as many shiny Eevee as you can. Niantic has acquired Seismic Games; how will this impact Pokémon GO? All of that incredible content, and of course YOUR feedback and comments!
